BAD DAD CHARTERS

Terms, Conditions & Liability Waiver

1. Reservation and Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of Three Hundred Dollars (US $300.00) is required to reserve a charter. 
This deposit is applied toward the total cost of the charter. A reservation is considered confirmed 
only after the deposit has been received.

2. Final Payment
The full remaining balance is due no later than 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. 
Failure to pay may result in cancellation and forfeiture of deposit.

3. Customer Cancellation
(a) More than 7 days before departure: Deposit refundable or transferable. (b) Within 7 days of 
departure: Deposit becomes non-refundable; rescheduling may be attempted but is not guaranteed. (c) 
Within 24 hours or no-show: Full charter fee owed and nonrefundable.

4. Cancellation by Bad Dad Charters / Weather
Charters may be canceled or postponed due to unsafe weather, mechanical issues, or safety concerns. 
Guests may reschedule or receive a full refund. Light rain does not guarantee cancellation. 
Captain’s decision is final.
5. Late Arrival
Charters depart as scheduled. Late guests may lose time without refund. Over 30 minutes late 
without notice may be considered a no show.

6. Alcohol, Conduct & Prohibited Items
Alcohol allowed in moderation for legal age guests. NO GLASS containers permitted. Illegal 
substances or unsafe conduct prohibited. Captain may restrict alcohol or end trip without refund.

7. Damage Liability
Guest responsible for intentional damage or negligence. Excessive mess may incur cleaning fees. All 
damage will be documented.

8. U.S. Coast Guard & Safety Compliance
Guests must follow Captain and crew instructions. Operations comply with U.S. Coast Guard safety
regulations. Failure to comply may terminate trip without refund.

9. Operational Interruptions
If Bad Dad Charters cannot operate due to circumstances beyond control, refund or reschedule is 
provided as sole remedy.

10. Liability Waiver & Risk Assumption
Guest acknowledges boating involves risks such as vessel movement, weather, wildlife, falls, 
injury, or illness. Guest voluntarily assumes these risks and releases Bad Dad Charters except in 
cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

11. Minors Requirement & Booking Guest Responsibility
Any person under 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. Booking guest agrees to 
ensure compliance and accepts responsibility for all minors in their group.

12. Agreement & Acceptance
Booking a charter, paying a deposit, or boarding constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions
on behalf of all guests.
